The photograph is taken on what used to be known as South Field, behind Judd Gymnasia. McCurdy Natatorium can just be seen in the upper lefthand corner of the photograph. Below the photo a list of the players has been attached. Only last names are given, but the players shown are: Jorgensen; Chapman; Potter; Molten; Moutinho, Carmin J.; Keen, Ian; Midgley, James A.; Paredes, Ricardo; Keyes, Edward J.; Belknap, Edwin S.; Brock, John D.; Marvin, Jack B.; Owens, John E.; Carlson, Nils B.; Eaton, Wilbur J.; Thau, Morton K.; Townsend, Robert W.; Cooper, Frank A.; Schmid, Irivin R.; Wagner, Robert P.; and Smith, Robert C. The 1942 Springfield College Men's soccer team went 5-0-1 and were co-New England Champions.
