This is the application for admissions to the International YMCA Training School, now Springfield College, for Raymond P. Kaighn (Class of 1893), one of the original students to play basketball that was created by Dr. James Naismith in 1891. The application is dated April 29, 1891. It contains biographical, information on religious upbringing and why he wanted to come to Springfield College and work within the YMCA.
