This is photograph of three Springfield College students at a party hosted by the Cosmopolitan Club, ca. 1955. There are three young women pouring drinks from a metal containing. The one of the left holds tea cup. The women in the center has been identified as Mae Sumida. The photograph is part of a series of nine photographs sent by Masaharu Takakura (Class of 1955) to Dr. Kenneth Wall. This is No. 8 in the series. An explanation of the photographs can be found in a letter that was sent with the photographs. In the letter, in regards to this photograph, it says, "At the party of Cosmopolitan Club. The center is Mae Sumida of Class '55. Left and right are graduate studes All of them came from Hawaii."
