This is a photograph taken from in front of Marsh Memorial, showing Springfield College's Alumni Hall and, farther in the distance, Woods Hall. There is a bit of snow on the ground and a man standing on the road outside of Alumni Hall. The picture was most likely taken in 1954 or 1955. The photograph is part of a series of nine photographs sent by Masaharu Takakura (Class of 1955) to Dr. Kenneth Wall. Masaharu could be the man seen in the photograph. This is No. 3 in the series. An explanation of the photographs can be found in his letter: http://cdm16122.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm/ref/collection/p15370coll2/id/16823
