A photograph depicting visitors from the Sun Yat-Sen University(Zhongshan University) in Guangzhou, China on a visit to Springfield College. The photograph was taken in an office in Marsh Memorial on October, 1998. Standing in the picture left to right we can recognize: Zhanren Liu (Associate Director, PE Department), Changling Lu, (卢长玲：时任中大外事处干部) Staff of External Affair Office (SYSU); Dr. Gretchen Brockmeyer, Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs (SC); Charles Redmond, Dean School of Physical Education of Springfield College (SC); Longfa Liang (梁龙发 (中大新华学院), Associate Director PE Department (SYSU). The visit occurred after an agreement was signed in 1996 between Springfield College (SC) and Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU) to provide training in sports medicine and conditioning and fitness, exchange of scholars and students from both schools.
