<mods:abstract>An invitation to a picnic in honor of Professor Yutaka Mizutani, The picnic was scheduled on Tuesday September 21, 1999 at 5:30pm at the house of Andrea Taupier, Springfield College Library Director. The picnic was part of an exchange program of visiting students from Toho Gakuen, a junior college in Tokyo, Japan to Springfield College. As part of the program, 19 students came accompanied by Professor Mizutani and Professor Shinichi Morishita, director of the Music Course at Toho Gakuen College. The program included a visit to Niagara Falls, Springfield College, Boston, and concluded with a visit to New York City. At Springfield College, Professor Mizutani requested to have a short campus tour, an ESL class among other classes, a picnic with students from the International Institute of English Language of Springfield College, and a final dinner with the president of the College and other attendees.
