Award certificate for the 6th Far East Olympic meeting (1920)
Description:
An award certificate for placement in a contest, part of the 6th annual Far East Olympic meet held at Osaka, Japan, on May 1920. The document was signed by Seichu Kishi, PhD president of the Far East Olympic Association and Hiroshi Kasuga, general manager of the 6th annual Olympic meet. The certificate was written in its entirety in Japanese. Notice a sketch of the outskirts of Osaka Castle, a Japanese fortification in Chūō-ku, Osaka, Japan. The castle is one of Japan's most famous landmarks and it played a major role in the unification of Japan during the sixteenth century of the Azuchi-Momoyama period. The certificate possess various adornments on its sides.
