This is Special Bulletin from the Natural Science Division, was published in the 1934-1935 academic year by the International YMCA College, now Springfield College. This bulletin (in its short version format) is the first to describe the new plan for the undergraduate and graduate studies, organized then in four divisions: The Arts and Science Division, the Natural Science Division, the Social Science Division, and the graduate division. According to the college yearbook, the Massasoit (1935), “by 1930 (…) the influx of numerous progressive young professors marks the new era of growth for Springfield…(where it) finally escaped the narrow and somewhat stagnant traces of the nineties and awoke to a redefinition of courses and curricula”. The Bulletin closes outlining the various divisions and majors in each division, including majors in physical education, biological and physical science, and a premedical course.
