This lantern slide shows five portraits of Springfield College alumni. Based on other photographs, we believe the men are, left to right, [bottom row] Harvey Smith (class of 1893), Willard S. Richardson (class of 1891), [top row] James A. Rath (class of 1904), Edgar Robinson (class of 1901), and Clarence McLaughlin (class of 1901). A note on the lantern slide’s case reads, “Lantern slide of founders.” However, their connection is unclear.
