A draft in Latin of a Commencement address given by college president Heman Humphrey in which he addresses the Trustees, stating that he is happy these young men have been approved, and he sanctions their judgement. He goes on to thank the professors and tutors and then addresses the graduates. He states that he is happy they have completed their course in the academy with singular fidelity and outstanding diligence. He gives them his public faith so that he may confer upon them the degree of Bachelor of Arts, and he expresses his hopes for the graduates.
