Photographs of the Clothesline Project, 2002 April
Description:
Color photographs taken in April 2002 of the Clothesline Project, a part of Sexual Assault Awareness Week. Images include scenes of various colored t-shirts with writing on them hanging from a clothesline next to sidewalks on campus. One photograph includes the fliers relating to the project with information on the color codes of t-shirts and a call to "add a shirt" and "speak out against sexual violence." Buildings that can be seen in the background include Keefe Campus Center, Merrill Science Center, Fayerweather Hall, and the social dorms. These photographs were taken by the College Photographer for the Office of Public Affairs (now the Office of Communications). Frank Ward was the College Photographer from 1984-2005.
