Sermon notes by Edward Hitchcock quoting 1 Corinthians 2:14 and focusing on the reason why mankind cannot agree about religion if the Bible is supposedly an infallible text. Hitchcock lists several different viewpoints about religion and explains their motivations. On the final page he indicates that this sermon was preached on a Fast Day, February 28, 1834.
