Edward Hitchcock incomplete sermon on ignoring the call of religion
Description:
An incomplete sermon by Edward Hitchcock telling the story of a man upon his death bed who tells his children about his neglect of religion throughout his life. In the story, the man feels a call to attend to religion, but continually puts it off claiming that he was too busy with other pursuits. Even though the man sees the error of his ways on his deathbed, it is too late for him to be saved.
