The geology around Amherst College
A hand-colored map of the geology of the towns surrounding Amherst College. Leverett, Hadley, Shutesbury, Amherst, Belchertown, South Hadley, and Granby are shown, with a key demonstrating the types of rock and geological features found in each area. This map was printed in Hitchcock's "Reminiscences of Amherst College" and appears to have been detached from a copy of the book. It is unclear who hand-colored this copy.
