A letter to Edward Hitchcock in which Benjamin Silliman describes edits and printing errors made to one of Hitchcock's pieces for The American Journal of Science. Silliman also explains his reasoning for delaying the printing of Hitchcock's botanical catalogue until a later issue of the Journal.
