Concealed button plaquet with six black buttons. Jacket has inside L breast pocket. Pocket contains label reading "Only Lexington suitings bear this label. The Burton-Pierce Co. Boston." Smaller black label inside back collar has same wording. Body is lined with black glazed cotton (?); sleeves are lined with ivory glazed cotton. Left sleeve lining has become separated from body lining. Slits at sides of coat with trim following the cut edges. b) Matching trousers have five black buttons spaced evenly around waistband (a sixth button is missing). Waist has hook-and-eye closure marked "Pat. 727970." Fly has hidden button plaquet with four black buttons and one ivory (bone?) button inside L waistband. Rear inside waist is stamped with an oval containing the words "Lexington BLUE / Manfd. by The Burton-Pierce Co." Pockets (two front, two rear) are lined in blue-and-white striped cotton ticking. Pants are unlined.
