Letter from Clinton T. Brann to Rhea Oppenheimer
- Letter from Clinton T. Brann to Rhea Oppenheimer
Clint is out in a camp in the woods now, and it has been raining hard for days. He couldn't finish his letter last night because he got talking with the other men. They have a French sergeant with them as an interpreter who served at Verdun for 21 months. His next opportunity for leave might not be for a while, so her Christmas gift might be late. He speculates on the favorable progress of the war and thinks it will be going even better by winter.
