Clint telegraphed his mother yesterday and is hoping to get a wire from her by tomorrow. They left Marseilles on May 6th on board the "President Wilson" and stopped on the 8th in a very interesting place that he will tell her more about later. They left Gibraltar on the 10th and began to cross the Atlantic. He stayed mostly in his room for five days since he is not a good sailor and they did go through one storm. They passed by the Azores and nearly crossed paths with the sea planes on their way there before they reached New York. They had quite a reception in New York, after which they went through routine quarantine and inspection. He doesn't know when he will be able to leave or whether he will be sent out alone or with troops billeted to Camp Dodge.
