Herman telegraphed home to tell them he is fine and his address has changed. She writes about how she has rearranged some of the furniture in her room and that she started school last Monday. She got a ride with Mr. Nelligan to Hamp on Friday and he was a lot of fun. Mrs. Nelligan asked after Luella and hadn't realized that Helen was her sister.
