Helen found several of Ethel's Christmas cards in a drawer and talks about who she has received letters from. She brought the typewriter down to use it the other day but after about 10 minutes mother had enough of listening to it. She writes about mother's new dress and other new clothes the family has, as well as household chores she has been doing. Clarence was recently discharged and came to visit and she's glad that Herman writes so frequently.
