Herman only has a week left of school before he returns to his company and his many letters. President Wilson is visiting in Paris and he thinks that he might visit the school since it is the oldest American Army school in France. He took advantage of the nice weather to air out his sheets, and he's found a use for the checkerboard that Auntie K. sent him. He writes that he will send them a cable if he can and that he is getting very fat and has only missed one meal since arriving.
