Small handmade folder used to hold family documents. The folder is one of a group of twenty-one created by Olive Percival of Los Angeles, California. This folder's label, handwritten by Percival, indicates it held the diary of her great aunt Abby Percival from 1831-1833. The folder is made form a piece of cardboard covered with wallpaper and lined with blue paper. The wallpaper the wallpaper is cut to extend beyond the edge of the folder, forming a flap. The blue interior paper is cut and folded to form a pocket. The wallpaper has a diamond pattern with stylized flowers centered in each diamond. It is block-printed in yellow on white ground.
