He and Civil Rights lawyer Derrick Bell spoke about the future of the CBC in light of a newly elected Democratic president, Bill Clinton. Together they touched on topics like universal healthcare, civil rights enforcement versus legislation, urban policy and housing, and institutional and jounalistic racism.
