Shelburne served as the Youth Director of the Robert Gould Shaw House, a settlement house and community center in Lower Roxbury, Massachusetts. Shelburne also served as the Camp Director of the Breezy Meadows Camp, a summer camp for inner-city children from the Greater Boston area.</mods:abstract>
