Beginning in 1977 through 1989, La Alianza Hispana hosted a Three Kings' Day celebration, an important religious holiday for Latinos generally observed on January 6, twelve days after Christmas. The event was administered annually by Youth Development Unit of La Alianza Hispana. The Three Kings' Day celebrations at La Alianza Hispana included a reenactment of this event, sometimes with a pageant, party, and gifts. Partially visible in the right background of this photograph, there is a sheep made out of cardboard and paper, part of the scenery used for the reenactment of the Epiphany.
