The event was administered annually by Youth Development Unit of La Alianza Hispana. The Three Kings' Day celebrations at La Alianza Hispana included a reenactment of this event, sometimes with a pageant, party, and gifts. In this photograph, the female clown has balloons in her hair; she is one of the entertainers at this event. The audience consists mostly of Hispanic American children and some adults; most of the children are turned to the right.
