<mods:abstract>Beginning in 1977 through 1989, La Alianza Hispana hosted a Three Kings' Day celebration, an important religious holiday for Latinos generally observed on January 6, twelve days after Christmas. The event was administered annually by Youth Development Unit of La Alianza Hispana. The Three Kings' Day celebrations at La Alianza Hispana included a reenactment of this event, sometimes with a pageant, party, and gifts. In this photograph, a boy and girl seated in the center foreground are turned, facing forward, while most of the other children in the audience are facing right. This is one of a series of images of the Three Kings' Day celebrations sponsored by La Alianza Hispana.</mods:abstract>
