Scanned photographs of people during a National Night Out event.
Description:
This poster shows various people involved in a National Night Out event. In the top picture, a woman sits in a chair. On a fence behind her are hand-written signs. One reads, in part, "Villa Victoria says no to dru[gs] 9 chances" and the other reads, in part, "Kids n[eed] hug[s] not drug[s]. 9 chances." In the second picture on the page, a man in a white tee-shirt and blue cap waves as he walks past. In the third picture, a man in a tie holds a balloon. He stands in front of a baby stroller. Behind him, balloons catch the sunlight. National Night Out is an annual crime and drug prevention event held in communities all across the country. The event brings together local citizens, law enforcement, neighborhood organizations, and local officials in an effort to raise awareness and strengthen partnerships between police and communities.
