Scanned photographs of people during a National Night Out event.
Description:
This poster shows various people involved in a National Night Out event. In the top picture, one woman, obscured by shadows, holds a paper cup while the woman next to her holds a bottle of Sprite. A boy and girl stand just behind them. The girl holds what appears to be a sandwich. In the middle picture, a person in a black shirt and sunglasses holds up a partially eaten sandwich and puts his or her arm around the shoulders of a man wearing a bright yellow apron. In the bottom picture, a man and woman stand next to each other. The woman carries a child and raises a bottle of blue liquid. National Night Out is an annual crime and drug prevention event held in communities all across the country. The event brings together local citizens, law enforcement, neighborhood organizations, and local officials in an effort to raise awareness of crime and to strengthen partnerships between police and communities.
