The juniors carried garlands. After the seniors had sung the senior "Farewell" song in a circle, the juniors filed down and formed a circle around the seniors and sang a song to them, then placed the garlands of bridal wreaths around their necks. The seniors handed the lanterns to the juniors, then stepped back into the junior circle and, standing together, the combined classes sang "When Twilight Shadows Deepen".
