From a series of images of Jacobson, "Hotel Hawthorne." A Clarence E. Jacobson appears in a city directory for Exeter, N.H. (1924) as proprietor of the Hotel Echo Beach, and a later man of the same name is listed in Boston (1931-at least 1937) as a doorman: it is not clear that the Jacobson in these images is either.
