- Letter from W. E. B. Du Bois to S. Dangoulov
Regretting and explaining at length why his unable to help much with his query (mums312-150-i318): he did not personally know those Americans who interacted with Lenin -- and describing his work and involvement in the Russian Revolution, interest in the cases of Sacco and Vanzetti, and familiarity with Socialism and Communism. Postscript indicates that Shirley has sent an article detailing the subject "from a more specific point of view."
