Audio channel 1 and 2. En Camino presents a video and discussion panel where Latin artists such as poets, writers, painters, muralists and musicians share their experience in the American art world. Artists confirm that their creativity is inspired by the different Latin American cultures that surround them, daily life and historical events like the Chicano Civil Rights Movement from the 1960's. They also speak of the great difficulties that Latin artists, especially women, encounter in the art world in the United States, and point to the Latin artist's responsibility to their community to foster education and unity of Latinos in the arts through close communication, participation and creation of social programs.
