Lebanese and Syrian Community Digitization Day (2025)

On April 26, 2025, the Boston Little Syria Project hosted a community digitization day at the American Arabic Benevolent Association's Cheriton Village housing complex in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. Former Syrian and Lebanese residents of the South Cove and South End, their descendants, and members of the diaspora from nearby communities brought photographs and other documents to be scanned and archived for the historical record. Participants provided their own descriptions of archived items to volunteers.
