Around a table in an interior setting, Mary Magdalene sits at Jesus' feet, wiping his feet with her hair. Jesus gestures at the four men sitting across from him, one of whom is presumably Judas. Martha works at a small table with her back to the reader. Another woman sits beside Jesus. Jesus sits at the upper center of a round table, surrounded by the Apostles. The apostle to Jesus' left leans into his embrace -- this is the "disciple Jesus loved" of John 13:23. With his free hand, Jesus gestures to the Apostle at his right, possibly Judas. Two other priests watch from the foreground.
