Digital Commonwealth Repository
http://repository.digitalcommonwealth.org/
The Digital Commonwealth offers repository hosting services to members on a DSpace server maintained in the library at UMass Amherst. The following member collections are currently included:
- Brookline Public Library
- Framingham State University
- Governor's Academy
- Jewish Women's Archive
- Lincoln Public Library
- Newton Free Library
- Massachusetts Library System
- Watertown Free Public Library.
These collections are in the process of moving to a new state-of-the-art repository being developed at the Boston Public Library (BPL). As of 2011 the Digital Commonwealth forged a partnership with the BPL to work together toward improving the Digital Commonwealth by building a more solid and sustainable foundation --technical, administrative, and financial -- that will enable Digital Commonwealth to succeed as a truly state-wide digital-services organization.
For more on this new partnership, please read this blog post and stay tuned for future blog updates on developments about the new BPL repository and other Digital Commonwealth news and events.
