Washington Street. Engine House. 200th bunting
Description
The Washington Street Fire Station draped in bunting with a sign 1705-1905 celebrating Brookline's bicentennial. The fire station was built in 1873 and is the town's oldest surviving fire station. To the right of the fire station was the shop of local contractor O.B. Delano, who carefully positioned a wagon with the name of his business for the photograph.
