Description
A description of forage received by the Massachusetts 2nd Brigade between August 23 and September 16, 1781. The account lists what supplies were collected, the date they were received, where they were received, and who received them. The supplies collected were for the horses attached to the brigade. The Massachusetts 2nd Brigade was part of the Continental Army stationed at Peekskill, New York. Theophilus Hyde was from Sheffield, Massachusetts and was a Major in the 2nd Brigade.
