A drawing of a Eucharistic Shrine by W. Joseph Carr. The drawing is done in pencil and marked with an 'A', being one of several versions that he drew. Joseph Carr was a Eucharistic minister at the Sacred Heat of Jesus Church in Gardner Massachusetts. Joseph Carr was a noted furniture designer, artist, cartoonist and sculptor from Gardner, Massachusetts. He worked mainly for Heywood-Wakefield as a furniture designer from 1936 till it closed its doors in 1979, but he also did freelance work for other furniture companies and by request for all types of items. Whether the design was used is not known.
