It is a strange sensation to know so suddenly that one's days are numbered. I have no dread whatever of that which on call death & I beg you not to have - there is no death - only everlasting life. Still, the tears will come when I think of parting even for a short time from my loved ones.
I am thankful for this happy meeting to-day - there may be some others before I go. God bless & keep you my own boy.
