you that I must leave you - because I may live months, and I want you to have your full strength and vigor for your school duties just as long as possible without mourning in advance. After you have to know the truth, I may not be strong enough to talk much to you. For that reason I have my love & blessing on paper, to my first born, and much loved son. -
As you grow older, I hope you will acquire deeper & stronger faith in the goodness of God, and the great wisdom with which he governs the Universe. You may say to yourself that your Mother is dead & gone, but I have absolute faith that I shall not be gone, any distance, from my children, & I shall be dead only as far as the poor aching body is concerned. -
I do not have a moments' doubt through all this waiting time - I feel that I know. I shall still be allowed to be of use to my children, though removed for a time out of their sight.
