Photo shows a view of Lakeside Cemetery on North Avenue, on the west shore of Lake Quannapowitt. This view was taken from the eastern shore of the Lake, near the intersection of Main and Sweetser Streets. The cemetery was established in 1846, and its Gothic chapel was built in 1932. After several land acquisitions, the cemetery is now about 22 acres in size. Photo taken at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2008.
