Video essay on silence and the banality of words. A man and woman are shown eating in silence in a restaurant -- the sounds they make are magnified. A nearly empty apartment is shown, followed by the woman walking across a pedestrian bridge. She walks along a highway before stopping and removing some articles of clothing. The couple is shown in the same restaurant. The have a short "conversation," as follows: Woman: "Pale green." Man: "I ran 10K this morning." W: "It was on sale." M: "I'm in line for a promotion." W: "Mexico -- I wanna travel." M: "Would you like some more coffee?" Approximately 5 minutes in length, the work was co-authored by Helen Humphreys.
