Scene of marriage of Hugh Mason and Hester Wells, January 1631/1632. Fred Crawford was a Harvard lawyer, Town Moderator and representative to the Massachusetts Legislature in 1878 and 1879. Fred Crawford was the Watertown Chairman of the Ter-Centary committee. He married Mattie Sturtevant Coolidge on February 15, 1888. He participated in the Baptist Church activities, and the Y.M.C.A.
