Description
Image of two uniformed firemen seated in early motorized Hook and Ladder fire engine ca 1920. Note fire-fighting apparatus on the fire engine; ladders, bell, lantern and chemical tank. The name Hopkinton is imprinted on the engine's hood. Firemen in Hopkinton fought three major town fires in 1876, 1882 and 1900. This may be the vehicle that was purchased by the town in 1915.
