Looking northeasterly along the front property line on Pleasant Street. H.P. Hood is an American dairy company based in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. Hood was founded in 1846 in Charlestown, Massachusetts by Harvey Perley Hood. The milkman was a part of the morning landscape, bringing fresh milk, cream and butter in all kinds of weather, to New England's homes, be it by horse-drawn wagons, truck, or sleds.
