Description

Memorial Day observation at Joseph Coolidge Monument in the old burying ground at the corner of Arlington and Mount Auburn Streets. Representative from the American Legion reading with Boy Scouts in the background. Monument text: Joseph Coolidge, born June 18, 1730. Killed in the battle at Lexington, April 19, 1775. The only citizen of Watertown who fell on that day."
