Written by Richard Knapp Fletcher in 1928, "The Royal Blue" has been the fight song off and on for over eighty years. A alumni effort is underway to sing it again. He was a member of the Academy Class of 1904 and also wrote the Massachusetts State Song All Hail to Massachusetts". Page 2 refers to our arch enemy Exeter, the Red and Grey".
