View of the dam in Chicopee Falls. The dam was built in
the 1820s as a power source for burgeoning industries. On the left is
a cluster of buildings which was the Belcher and Taylor Agricultural
Tool Company. After the Civil War they supplied agricultural
implements for the settlement of the American West.
