Guess the cattle shows were not as exciting as they were last year. We see hundreds of those yellow jackasses here, that we had so much fun with at Northampton last fall. Horses are pretty scarce in this country but what they have are good ones. Do about all their work with oxen & they are good sized ones too. Well it is getting late so will have to close for to-night. Wish I could tell you more about this country & our work ‘over here,’ but will have to wait until I get back. Write again when you have time & remember me to your folks.
